The Society for Environmental Protection “Okanj-Elemir” from Elemir has been appointed the manager of the Special Nature Reserve “Okanj bara”.

The responsibilities of the Manager are:

– to fully implement the established protection regimes and preserve the protected area,
– to provide conditions for the implementation of scientific research, cultural and educational advocacy and other activities,
– to develop permitted sustainable activities,
– to provide financial resources for the implementation of planned tasks from the budget of the Republic, the budget of the Province, own funds, project activities and other sources.
